IMAGE GRAPHICS AND ALPHA IMAGING TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUCES THE ARRIVAL OF THE NEW TELEIOS DIRECT TO TEXTILE PRINTER.

DEER PARK, NY. December 1, 2006- Image Graphics announces the arrival of its recently purchased state of the art Teleios direct to textile sublimation printer. The printer made in Korea by D-gen International and sold and installed by Alpha Imaging Technologies is the first of its kind in the Northeast, and is one of two installed in the United States. This printer is drastically different from traditional digital dye sub printers. Older dye sublimation machines first need to print onto transfer paper, and then send the printed paper along with the desired textile through a roll fed heat press to transfer the image to fabric. That process has many complications. “The Teleios is revolutionizing the fabric industry. It’s by far the best direct to fabric printer. It’s speed, color, and consistency are superior to any fabric printer on the market today.” –says Tom Sweeney, Sales Manager for Alpha Imaging Technologies.

The Teleios’s cutting edge process is dramatically different from older dye sublimation printers eliminating the drawbacks that plague its predecessors. Problems like fabric twisting, color deflection, stretching and inconsistent color are resolved by printing and transferring simultaneously. Simply, this gives Image Graphics the ability to provide high quality output on a very consistent basis, even over very long runs.

Image Graphics and Alpha Imaging Technologies will debut this new fabric printer at the Trex Show at the Javits Center the 6th and 7th of December. The Teleios is capable of printing on a wide array of textiles. At up to 74” wide by any length this machine is very versatile and can print outdoor and indoor flags, banners, wallpaper, home good textiles and so much more. The printer can image a maximum of 74” wide and prints at 400 sq. ft. an hour. With an ability to print at high resolutions the output quality can standup to even the most discriminating customer. One of the biggest advantages over older systems is the Teleios’s output superb light-fastness and water resistance, prints are resistant to sun, rain and washing.  “We are extremely optimistic about leaping into the dye sub area, we have been offering this service to our clients for several years and decided it was time to bring this printing technology under our roof, I think we have hit a home run with this one.”, says Rick Scher, company president.
